HBO will broadcast "Madonna Live: The Drowned World Tour," from the Material Girl's hometown Detroit concert on Aug. 26 at The Palace at Auburn Hills. The broadcast will air 9 p.m. EST.

This is Madonna's third HBO special. The other's aired in 1990 and in 1993.

Rap mogul Russell Simmons is one of six dads being honored as ''Father of the Year'' by the National Father's Day Committee for their work as parents and professionals. Ticket sales proceeds from the June 7 event in New York will benefit a prostate cancer treatment center on New York's Long Island.
