(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Clear Channel Entertainment has appointed Charlie Mierswa to the newly created position of senior vice president of Business Affairs for the Music Division. Ann Latora will be joining the Music Division as senior vice president of Finance.

"The roles that Charlie Mierswa and Ann Latora will undertake will be invaluable in leading our financial operations," said Ed Stacey, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Clear Channel Entertainment. "We have every confidence that their combined financial acumen and industry expertise will be instrumental in supporting the rapid growth of the music division as we continue to have an enormously positive impact on the live entertainment fan base."

Mierswa developed a strong broad-based knowledge of all aspects of Clear Channel Entertainment's business in his previous role as senior vice president, Finance of the Music Division. In his new operations role, Mierswa will act as the liaison between the music group's legal and finance departments and music management. He will also continue to provide strategic information to the executive management team on how the division can achieve another year of record growth. Mierswa will report directly to Dominic Roncace, chief operating officer for Clear Channel Entertainment – Music.

A 22-year music industry veteran, Latora brings to Clear Channel Entertainment a wealth of financial knowledge. Latora joins the company following her position as vice president of Finance for RCA Victor Group. Prior to this role, she spent 17 years with Universal Music Group / Polygram Holdings, where she rose from senior accountant to chief financial officer for the Island Def Jam Music Group. In her new role at Clear Channel Entertainment – Music, Latora will oversee all financial operations for the division and report to Ed Stacey. –Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
