AURORA, Colorado (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A large melee at an Aurora nightclub during a Feb 8th concert by Ranchero singer Alfredito Olivas resulted in numerous injuries and at least 4 arrests.
According to the Denver Post, police said the fight broke out at Nuevo Club Adixion when patrons in the venue's balcony began throwing bottles at others on the first floor. The fight spilled over into the parking lot and once person was hit by a car. Eight people were transported to the hospital for medical attention.
"The crowd at the club became unruly," Aurora Police Watch Commander Lt. Chad Cerinich told The Post. "And it became a bottle-throwing melee."
A city-wide call for help and all available police officers responded to the call and Cerinch noted that 4 off duty Aurora police were already at the club, serving as security. One individual was arrested for second degree assault on a police officer, 3-4 others were arrested on other unspecified charges. – Staff Writers
