PARIS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Whitney Houston has been forced to postpone the opening concert in the European leg of her tour, set for April 6th in Paris, citing illness.
"Whitney is suffering from an upper respiratory infection and after a consultation with her doctors has been advised to postpone her performance," read a statement from the concert's organizers. "Whitney and her band apologize that the show has to be rescheduled on such short notice."
Houston is fresh from the Asian leg of her tour, which got off to a rocky start with some of the singer's performances being panned by some critics and fans, who claimed that Houston was having trouble staying on key and seemed out of breath.
