MGM At Foxwoords Signs Broadcast & DVD Content Deal

LEDYARD, CT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — MGM Grand at Foxwoods has signed a multi-year deal with New York-based Locomotive Distribution to produce television and DVD content from events at the MGM Grand Theater.

The deal will see Locomotive producing three events a year at the the 4,000-seat theater, starting with a previously announced Kenny Rogers date, which is set for April 10, the New London Day reported.

The Kenny Rogers show, “Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years" will include performances by Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and Sheena Easton, among others as well as taped performances by Tim McGraw and other performers.

Other planned events include the baseball oriented Golden Gloves Awards in a partnership with sports brand Rawlings, in what is being touted as a "star-studded" award ceremony, The New London Day reported.

Locomotive said that they will be shopping broadcast and DVD rights at an international content market in Cannes next month. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
