U2 Are Hoping To Tour Europe This Summer

Last week U2 was nominated for eight Grammy Awards, and are confirmed to play live at the ceremony at the Los Angeles Staples Center on February 27.

Speaking to the Reuters news service, band manager Paul McGuinness said dates in the summer were a possibility, and that the group was "thrilled and really excited" at their Grammy nominations. However, no summer shows have yet been confirmed.

The group recently completed their US touring commitments for their 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' album and are the half-time entertainment at the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans.
