OXFORDSHIRE, UK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Heavy rains have sidelined yet another U.K. festival this summer, forcing organizers to call off the Truck Festival the day before it was set to begin.
The event, set for July 21 in Steventon, Oxfordshire, was to feature Idlewild, the Brades, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Electric Soft Parade, and Jack Penate.
A statement released by the organizers explained that nearby Ginge Brook had flooded, rendering the festival site useless.
Many bands, vendors and even fans had already turned up for the event.
Organizers said they will re-schedule the festival for the weekend of September 22nd, and that original tickets will be honored. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
