The Pipettes US Tour Delayed

New York, NY (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A planned tour by UK Band The Pipettes has been delayed by unexpected delays in clearing customs. The new schedule has the tour kicking off on October 25th at the Echoplex in L.A. and continuing throughput the U.S. and Canada until Thanksgiving.

The group is chagrined about the delay but eager to commence the tour which is in support of their debut album "We Are The Pipettes" on CherryTree Rex. Composed of a trio of female singers, built around the model of the girl supergroups of the 70s, the band caused a stir with a strong showing at SXSW and a single "Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me" which charted up to #5 on Billboard's hot singles list.
