Stephen Rehage Out At Live Nation

NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Stephen Rehage, the founder of the annual The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, has reportedly left Live Nation, the company that now owns the festival.

According to a story reported by New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL-TV, a spokesperson for Live Nation confirmed Rehage's exit from the firm.

“We can confirm that Steve Rehage is no longer with Live Nation, but he is still a minority owner of the festival,” Live Nation spokeswoman Carrie Davis said. “He is still a stakeholder and actively involved in the festival.”

Rehage founded Voodoo Music in 1999 and sold a controlling interest in the festival to Live Nation in 2013. As a part of the sale, Rehage joined Live Nation as president of the company's North American festival unit.

Davis declined to comment to WWL-TV on the circumstances of Rehage's departure from Live Nation, but said that he left the company shortly after the final day of the festival was canceled in 2015 due to severe weather. – Staff Writers
