Nate Finkel New Director Of Sales/Marketing At Mullins Center

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Global Spectrum has named Nate Finkel the director of sales and marketing at the Mullins Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts. Global Spectrum's Bob LeBarron, general manager of Mullins Center, said he will be working closely with Finkel to increase the number of events and enhance the overall fan experience for customers visiting the 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena. Finkel will create an in-house marketing agency to handle all advertising, promotions, marketing, publicity and group sales, for Mullins Center, as well as the many amenities that the facility has to offer.

"Nate will utilize all of his knowledge and experiences to help us create an exciting new environment at the Mullins Center that enhances the customer experience for UMASS sports fans and all other area residents attending entertainment, sports and special events," said LeBarron.

"One of our immediate goals is to bring our company's 'How You Doin'?' philosophy and approach to customer service to the Mullins Center. Nate will help us implement this program, which has been extraordinarily successful in creating a positive rapport between the customers and event personnel at other Global Spectrum-managed facilities in North America," he added.

Finkel joined Global Spectrum in September 2003 as the marketing manager at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ, where he honed his skills promoting and publicizing concerts, family shows and major events. Through the efforts of the marketing department at Sovereign Bank Arena, the facility consistently ranks in the top 10 grossing facilities in the 10,000-seat to 15,000-seat category, which is significant when the arena is 35 miles from Philadelphia and 55 miles from New York City.

Prior to joining Global Spectrum, Finkel was a marketing partnerships coordinator for the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
