LOS ANGELES, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — James L. Nederlander, President of Nederlander Concerts announced today that Melanie Davis has been named Vice President of Marketing for the company.
In her new role with Nederlander Concerts, Davis will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Marketing and Publicity Departments for the West Coast division including marketing development and management for The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the Grove of Anaheim and Santa Barbara Bowl. In addition, she will supervise the media planning and advertising for Nederlander events held at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, Staples Center, Bakersfield Centennial Garden, Save Mart Center at Fresno State, Target Center in Minneapolis among other venues.
With more than 15 years of experience in event marketing, Davis has a wide range of experience in strategic marketing, planning, promotions, management, project development and communications.

Most recently, Davis worked for Clear Channel Entertainment in San Francisco as the Senior Vice President for the Music Division’s Western Region. There she was responsible for day to day marketing operations for the Bill Graham Presents division as well as facilitating communication between national corporate offices and the local markets of the Western region.
