Motley Crue Show Moved Following Poor Ticket Sales

GRAND FORKS (CelebrityAccess) — A Motley Crue concert originally slated for Grand Forks has been moved to Minneapolis in the face of poor ticket sales, according to Fargo's Inforum News Service.

The band was scheduled to perform at the Alerus Center on Dec. 8th but the show was moved the Target Center in Minneapolis on the same day.

“Sadly and disappointingly, our population is just much smaller than Minneapolis,” Cheryl Swanson, the executive director of the Alerus Center told InForum. “There’s just weren’t enough Motley Crue fans here to support the show.”

The Alerus Center, who were co-promoting the show with Live Nation, said they still lost money.

“We’re willing to take risks and we’re willing to try different things,” Swanson added. “But we were very fortunate that Live Nation has the ability to move a show like that.” – Staff Writers
