McCartney Benefit Concert Details

Paul McCartney's October 20 benefit concert, at Madison Square Garden, "The Concert for New York," to aid the victims of the September 11 attacks will feature a myriad of performers including Bon Jovi, Jim Carrey, John Cusack, Goo Goo Dolls, Melissa Etheridge, Macy Gray, John Mellencamp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jerry Seinfeld, James Taylor and The Who.

The four-hour concert will be broadcast live on VH1 and simulcast on radio stations across the country. AOL will also provide a live Webcast. A phone number will be featured so viewers and listeners can make a donation.

Organizers also plan to invite 5,000 members of the New York fire, police and rescue crews, as well as their families.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 7.
