Berry Sets Special 75th Birthday Concert

Chuck Berry will celebrate his 75th birthday on October 18 with a special concert performance at The Pageant in his hometown of St. Louis, Mo. Little Richard will also appear for the event as will a number of special guests. Berry will be backed by the band with which he has been playing every month at St. Louis’s famed restaurant/nightclub, Blueberry Hill.

Also paying tribute to Berry and helping to celebrate this milestone event will be the Governor of Missouri, Bob Holden, and the Mayor of St. Louis, Francis Slay, both of whom will present Chuck with proclamations.
