BERLIN (CelebrityAccess) — Lollapalooza's Berlin edition announced a new venue and the lineup for the 2016 return of the festival, with Radiohead, Kings of Leon, Major Lazer and the 1975 as headliners.
Set for September 10 & 11, the festival will take place at its new home in Treptower Park, alongside the river Spee in south central Berlin. Festival organizers had previously announced they were searching for new digs for the fest, citing the support of officials from the City of Berlin in the process.
Lolla Berlin was forced to relocate from its previous home at Tempelhof Airport, which has been repurposed to serve as temporary housing for thousands of refugees who have fled conflict in the Middle East and North Africa.
Other artists on the bill include New Order, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Milky Chance, Aurora, Beginner, Bilderbuch, G-Eazy, Martin Solveig and James Blake. – Staff Writers
