Live Nation Exits Wembley Arema As Manager Not Promoter

LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Wembley Arena and Live Nation have concluded their venue management contract according to Event magazine in the UK.
Live Nation has managed the venue since April 2006. (Event) understands Wembley Arena owner Quintain is in talks with AEG Live for the company to become the arena's new operator, with an announcement to be made next year.

Live Nation wants to focus on the music promotion and festival side of its business in Europe.

Paul Latham, UK president of Live Nation, said: "We have been privileged to operate Wembley Arena, but we are focusing increasingly on promotion and new venues as we review our Europe-wide events calendar."

Live Nation will remain the promoter at of the venue, which held many events during the London Olympics and has hosted a long line of celebrities from The Rolling Stones to Taylor Swift.
