Both Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick will be leaving the Broadway production of "The Producers" on March 17, fulfilling their one year contracts. However, in the first 43 shows since the beginning of the year, they only appeared together eight times. Both have had various illnesses and vacations. So, people who returned tickets hoping to see them together on stage would have had a less than 20 percent chance of fulfilling their wishes.
British actor Henry Goodman is Lane's replacement; Broderick's replacement has not been announced.
