IAAM To Honor Ross At Conference

HOUSTON, TX (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) Board of Directors has selected David B. Ross, CFE to be the recipient of the Charles A. McElravy Award. Ross will be honored at the IAAM Annual Conference & Trade Show in Houston, TX on July 26, 2010.

The McElravy Award was dates back to the dark days of 1963 and is granted at the discretion of IAAM's board for extraordinary contributions to the Association and the profession of public assembly facility management.

Mr. Ross has been a member of the association since 1985. Some of his accomplishments include President of IAAM 2005-2006, service on the Board of Directors as a Director-at-Large for Universities, the Board of Regents, Board of Trustees, Board of Governors, Bylaws Committee, Nominating Committee, International Steering Committee and is currently the chair of the History & Awards Recognition Committee. Ross also successfully negotiated the affiliation agreement between IAAM and the Venue Management Association expanding our global membership within Australasia.
