Hanson Fan Sues HoB Alleging Assault By Security

CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A Hanson fan has filed a lawsuit against the House of Blues, alleging that venue security beat her on the street near the venue.

According to the Marina City News, 23-year-old Brittney Hernandez claims that after she left the concert, she attempted to get a glimpse of the band as they left in their tour bus but was allegedly accosted by security guard Darrell Gibson.

According to Hernandez, Gibson "ran up on me and ripped my camera out of my hands." Hernandez further asserts that Gibson punched her in the face and then hit her again after she had fallen to the ground.

Police subsequently arrived on the scene and arrested Gibson. Police described Hernandez' injuries as minor but her attorney noted that the full extent of her injuries have yet to be determined, the Marina City News said.

Hernandez is seeking at least $100,000 from Gibson and HoB as a result of the alleged altercation. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
