City Of Windsor Selects Global Spectrum To Secure Events For WFCU Centre


WINDSOR, ON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The City of Windsor has named Global Spectrum, to help secure events at the new 6,500-seat spectator arena in the WFCU Centre, which is scheduled to open in December of 2008. The arena, which is part of a 302,000-sq. ft. recreation complex, will become the new home of the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League.

"Global Spectrum’s reputation will significantly enhance our ability to host internationally known performers and attractions for the Windsor Region," said Mayor Eddie Francis.

Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, provides full management of the 10,000-seat John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, as well as four other facilities in British Columbia.
