Charles Dorris Exits WME, Launches New Venture

FRANKLIN, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Industry veteran Charles Dorris has departed from William Morris Endeavor to found not one, but two new companies: CDA Consulting and Charles Dorris & Associates.

CDA Consulting will focus on developing live events, artists growth strategies, tour sponsorship and brand tie-in opportunities with an eye towards family friendly and faith-oriented events. The company’s initial consulting clients include: World Vision, iTickets, Executive Music Group, syndicated
columnist John Rosemond, Grace Productions and Psalm 98 Productions.

Dorris has also launched Charles Dorris & Associate, a booking agency focused on repping special events, project oriented tours and select artists. To help in this endeavor, Dorris has brought aboard veteran agent Jill Fetters to coordinate booking activity. Fetters was most recently agent for Annie
Moses Band and Fetters has solid contacts with Music Ministers, Worship Leaders and Performing Arts Centers.

Initial clients that Charles Dorris & Associates represents across the board in all markets include: Integrity's Deeper Worship Tour, featuring Paul Baloche, Brian Doerksen and Kathryn Scott; Heather Payne and Mark Harris. The company also represents Ronnie Milsap, who just released his first Gospel album, and Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. in the Christian market, while representing Bill Miller, Carpenter & May and Annie Moses Band in the performing arts center market. With a 28-year career in the industry, Dorris most recently served as a senior vice president at the William Morris Agency and head of their Christian Music division. Dorris joined WMA in 1993 when the agency bought-out his former company. Dorris have been involved in the development of numerous artists, including Switchfoot, Kirk Franklin, Steven Curtis Chapman, CeCe Winans, 4 Him, Point Of Grace, Jaci Velasquez, Sandi Patty, Reba
