Celine Dion performed Queen's "The Show Must Go On" before accepting the Icon Award. Madonna performed a tribute to Prince and Adele debuted her new video "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)."

Other performances included Kesha, performing a tribute to Dylan with "It Ain't Me Babe" with Ben Folds on piano; the Go-Gos performing their classic hit "We Got The Beat"; a duet Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton; and Nick Jonas and Tove Lo singing their new single “Close.”
