Ace Frehley Hospitalized After Show

WILKES-BARRE, PA (CelebrityAccess) — KISS founder Ace Frehley was hospitalized after a performance in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday and canceled a sold out show at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY the following night.

In a post on Frehley official Facebook page, a rep said:

"Ace Frehley was admitted to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following his show last night at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. After extensive testing, it was determined that Ace’s symptoms were due to exhaustion and dehydration.

"In consultation with his doctors, Ace, who aside from the exhaustion and dehydration has been given a clean bill of health, has reluctantly agreed to cancel tonight’s sold out show at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY. The venue is working to reschedule the date in late September and expects to announce an exact date later this week."

Fortunately for Ace, the Poughkeepsie show was the last date on his current tour so he will have time to recuperate. – Staff Writers
