WATKINS GLEN, NY (CelebrityAccess) — After winning a partial victory in court this week, Woodstock 50 organizer Michael Lang announced that tickets to the festival may be cheaper than previously announced.

The Poughkeepsie Journal reported that after the court ruling, Lang appeared on the satellite broadcaster SiriusXM’s program Feeback to talk up the festival, and stated that three-day passes to the event will cost less than $400. Lang had previously said that weekend passes would set fans back $450 and that there would be no single day passes.

Lang also told SiriusXM that the festival will announce a new onsale date for tickets as early as the first week of June.

Tickets were originally scheduled to go on sale April 22 but the sale was delayed due to behind the scenes turmoil between Woodstock 50 organizers and their financial backers Dentsu Aegis and their Amplifi Live subsidiary.

Lang also seemed upbeat on the festival’s prospects and told SiriusXM hosts, Ni Carter and Lori Majewski, that the festival has a new financial backer and a production partner that will be officially announced shortly.

“We have an amazing production partner coming in, we’ll announce in a week or so, which I think will surprise everybody. It’s been an unbelievable ride,” Lang said.
