KANSAS CITY (CelebrityAccess) After releasing a record 27th album that hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart with Honky Tonk Time Machine, country music icon George Strait has confirmed a rare concert appearance at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The Country Music Hall of Famer returns to Kansas City for a “Strait to the Heartland” show on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The appearance is not listed on Strait’s website yet. Strait no longer tours but he has made clear that he will continue to venture to other cities, beyond his Las Vegas shows at the T-Mobile Arena. Upcoming gigs include Ohio Stadium in Columbus June 8, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., Aug. 17, and Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Nov. 22-23.
Tickets start at $75 and go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m. at SprintCenter.com.
