LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — AEG announced a round of staff changes at their flagship Los Angeles venues that includes the hiring of Manny Jacobo as Vice President of Premium Sales & Service at the Staples Center and Microsoft Theater.
In his new gig, Jacobo will oversee the sales and servicing of premium seats at the two venues, including the San Manuel Tables, Premier Seats, and lounges with private seats at the Staples Center and Theatre Boxes at the Microsoft.
He comes to his new role after a stint at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he worked in a similar capacity for the New York Islanders. He’s also held hospitality roles with the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.
“I’m honored and extremely excited to join AEG as part of Staples Center and Microsoft Theater’s Premium Seating team,” Jacobo said. “I look forward to helping Michele Kajiwara lead this dedicated, passionate team of sports professionals as we provide unparalleled experiences and service our clients as well as secure and welcome new clients to the family.”
The Staples Center and Microsoft Theater also announced the promotion of David Brewster to serve as Director of Premium Sales for the two venues. Brewster has been with the company for five years, starting as a sales exec and working his way up to the Premium team.
In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Premium Sales department, including suites and premier seats.
