(CelebrityAccess) — American folk rock quartet Family of the Year announced the cancellation of all dates on their upcoming North American run.
“Due to personal circumstances beyond our control we, unfortunately, will not be able to perform the dates on our upcoming North American tour. We are sorry and we hope to be back out soon. Tickets can be refunded at point of purchase,” a spokesperson for the band said in brief announcement on social media.
The double bill tour with Hollis Brown was due to hit the road on April 29th at Brighton Music Hall in Alston, Mass, and wrap on May 18th at the Regent Theatre in Los Angeles.
The group, which released their debut album Songbook in 2009, are best known for their 2012 hit “Hero” which was featured in Richard Linklater’s 2014 film Boyhood and charted internationally.
More recently, they released their 2018 LP Goodbye Sunshine Hello Nighttime via Reprise, and have become a fixture on the summer festival circuit.
