COWETA COUNTY, GA (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Boosie Badazz has been released on bond after he was arrested with drugs and a loaded firearm on Monday.
According to Baton Rouge ABC affiliate WBZR, Badazz, whose real name is Torrence Hatch and a passenger, identified as Antonio Allen, were arrested following a traffic stop. A Sheriff’s deputy alleged that they observed the vehicle, a Dodge Charger operated by Boosie, swerving in and out of traffic, and nearly sideswiped another vehicle.

According to the police report, the arresting officers found more than $20,000 in cash, along with marijuana, a vape pen and a loaded semiautomatic pistol, TMZ reported.
Both Hatch and Boosie were taken into custody. Boosie reportedly bonded out of jail today, but it is unclear if Allen is still in custody.
Boosie has been in jail on drug charges previously and did a stint in prison in Louisiana in 2009 on a marijuana charge. He was subsequently accused of trying to smuggle drugs into jail and ended up with a longer sentence.
In 2010, he was indicted in a murder charge and spent several years on death row before being exonerated.
After serving 5 years in prison, he was released early on March 5, 2014 and was on parole until 2018.
