LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – The LAPD has identified a suspect in the murder of Grammy-nominated rapper and community activist Nipsey Hussle.
Hussle was gunned down Sunday afternoon outside his Marathon clothing store in L.A.’s Crenshaw neighborhood. Two others were also injured in the shooting.
Police are currently looking for 29-year-old Eric Holder who is wanted for homicide. Holder, who is a resident of Los Angeles, was reportedly last seen fleeing the scene in a 2016 white Chevy Cruz with the license plate 7RJD742.
LAPD Chief Michel Moore is scheduled to hold a press conference Tuesday morning to share updates on the case.
News that the LAPD had identified a suspect in the case arrived mere hours after a vigil for Hussle, which took place outside of his store Monday night, ended in a stampede that injured 19 people.
Two people have been reported in critical condition following the incident.
