LONDON, UK (CelebrityAccess) – Warner Music has named Kate Logan its new general counsel international.

Logan, who will be based in London, will be responsible for the major’s legal and business affairs outside the U.S., and will report to WMG executive vice president/general counsel Paul Robinson.

“Since joining us five years ago, Kate has done an exceptional job on multiple fronts — becoming a trusted advisor to our international legal and business affairs team and building a reputation in the industry as a talented executive with great energy and integrity,” said Robinson.

Of the promotion, Logan said: “WMG is a very exciting place to be during this transformational time in the music industry. We’re finding innovative ways to expand global opportunities for our artists and songwriters, while growing our international footprint by entering fresh territories, opening up new licensing avenues, and pioneering digital initiatives.
