NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Willie Nelson performed his take on the melancholic Guy Clark hit “My Favorite Picture of You” on Tuesday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The track is included on Nelson’s forthcoming album “Ride Me Back Home” which is slated to arrive in stores, digital or otherwise, on June 21st.

Clark recorded the song and included it as the title track to his final album, which he released in 2013.

Nelson also sat down with Jimmy Fallon and discussed his celebrity as one of marijuana’s elder statesmen. Nelson recently appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone, where he made the claim that how marijuana saved his life.

Nelson told the publication that cannabis helped him shake an addiction to cigarettes and alcohol, that left him with health issues.

“I used to smoke two or three packs of cigarettes a day and drink whatever there was to drink, and I had pneumonia four or five times, my lung collapsed, I almost died,” Nelson told Fallon in the interview.. “So I said, ‘Wait a minute, I ain’t getting that high off of Chesterfields.’ So I threw out the cigarettes, rolled up 20 joints, stuck it in there and haven’t smoked a cigarette since.”
