Verve Label Group Makes Two Senior Promotions

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – The Verve Label Group has promoted two of its senior executives.

Jamie Krents has been named executive vice president, Verve and Impulse!, and Dahlia Ambach Caplin has been named senior vice president of artist & repertoire for Verve and Impulse!.

Krents will now lead and oversee the imprints of Verve Records, Verve Forecast and Impulse! Records, plus their catalogs, and will work alongside president of Universal Music Classics, US Graham Parker, while Caplin will continue to develop and sign artists for Verve Records, Verve Forecast and Impulse!.

Commenting on the promotions, Dickon Stainer, president and CEO of global classics and jazz and Verve Label Group said: “Jamie is the heart and soul of Verve, having played a major role in the label’s successes over the past two decades. Stainer himself took control of The Verve Label Group earlier this year after former president and CEO Danny Bennett exited the company amidst reorganization.
