NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Ticketmaster has today (Nov. 20) announced that it has renewed its partnership with the MetLife Stadium to serve as the official ticketing partner for all events, including home games for the New York Jets and the New York Giants.
Under the renewed partnership, Ticketmaster will power the primary and secondary ticketing marketplaces for the New York Jets and the New York Giants and all other live events at MetLife Stadium on Ticketmaster.com and the Ticketmaster mobile app.
Utilizing Ticketmaster Presence, the ticket giant’s ‘next generation digital ticketing and venue access control platform,’ MetLife Stadium will be able to provide ‘faster entry, total fraud protection, and an unmatched personalized experience for football and live event fans.’ The New York Jets and the New York Giants will also use SafeTix, the latest enhancement to Presence, which ties a unique, identifiable digital ticket to each fan’s mobile phone and uses NFC tap and go technology along with rotating barcodes that refresh every 15 seconds, to prevent the replication and sale of fake tickets.
