LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Madonna, fresh off the heels of a tanking single, “Medellin,” is expected to have an expensive performance of it at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas Wednesday, but the details have gone askew.
TMZ originally reported that the one-time major artist would be performing such a massive moment at the Las Vegas-based awards show, filled with state-of-the-art CGI and holograms, that she would fork over $5 million of her own money. The act is (was) described as “one of the most ambitious performances ever attempted on live TV,” according to TMZ.
At least, that’s what was said earlier today. Madonna’s people are still promoting the heck out of the event on her Instagram page but TMZ has scrubbed the original article. Remnants of the original article are still out there because nothing dies on the Internet.
Obviously, as can be seen below in a post from about 15 minutes before this one, all systems are go, but somewhere along the line that $5 million went missing. No matter what, it appears that the public that tunes into the awards show will be forcibly introduced to the first single to Madonna’s upcoming album.
