The Melvins Cancel European Tour Because Of Drummer’s Back Injury

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) The Melvins have had to cancel their European tour dates because drummer Dale Crover is “dealing with a back-related injury.”

“I feel awful that I have to let you all down like this,” Crover said on Facebook. “I want to assure you that I’m working very hard to return 100% better! We will come back as soon as we can.”

The band was expected to kick off its European dates in Bristol, England, June 15 and would wrap the dates in Manchester July 11. The band’s fall tour of the US, with Redd Kross and ShitKid, Sept. 3 to Nov. 5, remains on the books. Crover is expected to play drums in the Dale Crover Band with Redd Kross as well as The Melvins.
