Soulja Boy Arrested On Probation Violation, Held Without Bail

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Soulja Boy has been jailed without bail in Los Angeles because of probation violations after failing to complete his community service requirement and having ammunition in his house.

The rapper appeared for a probation hearing in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday but was taken into custody after a judge said he failed to do his court-ordered service and conspired to falsify evidence that he had completed it, according to TMZ.

Worse, Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, had violated his probation because of an incident in February when police came to his San Fernando Valley home to investigate a claim by one of his ex-girlfriends had Way had tied her up in the garage and held her captive. Cops searched the house and, according to the judge, found ammunition, which is a violation of probation for a weapons case from 2014.

Way’s probation was extended in 2016 when he was allegedly found in possession of a firearm, according to USA Today.

Way was arrested in March regarding the ammunition charge after seeing his probation officer but was released the same day. He will remain in custody until a hearing scheduled for April 30.

Apparently, Soulja Boy had gigs scheduled for last night and tonight.
