Silverstone Partners With OVG

(CelebrityAccess) — Oak View Group has launched the OVG International Venue Alliance, with prominent UK-based Formula 1 racetrack Silverstone Circuit as its founding member.

According to Blackbook Motorsports, Silverstone’s two-year deal with OVG will see the venue consultancy secure live entertainment such as concerts and festivals for the racetrack.

The deal will also see OVG solicit naming rights sponsorship partners for the facility, as well as handle the track’s corporate partnerships for smaller sponsorship deals, including the tracks 4,000-capacity conference and exhibition center, the new ‘Residents at Silverstone’, and the under-construction Silverstone Experience Centre.

“We’re delighted to be in a position to help Silverstone deliver additional revenue as a founding member of Oak View Group’s International Venue Alliance,” OVG’s international president Sam Piccione said.

“This iconic circuit has a rich motorsports history, and we’re looking forward to working with the Silverstone team to develop world-leading content, partnerships, and experiences during this next exciting phase of their development,” he added.

According to Blackbook, OVG expects to announce additional members of the alliance, which is similar to OVG’s invitation-only Arena and Stadium Alliance in the US.
