NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The New York Post reported that a gunman fired several shots near a set where rappers Tekashi69  6ix9ine and 50 Cent were filming a music video on Tuesday night.

The gunman fired off a rapid series of at least 8 shots near the set, which was on Noble Street near the East River in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood at approximately 8:45 p.m., the Post reported.

TMZ reported that based on the shell casings, the weapon used in the shooting was a nine-millimeter semi-automatic pistol.

Authorities said no one was wounded by the gunfire and police are working to determine if the shots were fired at the video production, or were an unhappy coincidence. Approximately 50 people were on the set at the time of the shooting, including rappers Casanova and Uncle Murda.

In June, Tekashi69 was investigated after rapper Chief Keef was allegedly attacked by two gunmen outside of his Times Square hotel in midtown. According to TMZ, police suspected that Keef and Tekashi69 were engaged in a dispute at the time of the shooting. Tekashi69, who was in Los Angeles when the shooting occurred, denied involvement in the attack.

The shooting incident marks the second close call for 6ix9ine, who is best known for his hit “Gummo”, in Brooklyn this year. In July, he reported to police that he had been robbed at gunpoint by two men who read-ended his SUV while he was in the Crown Heights neighborhood.
