NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) — Nashville police are investigating an apparent act of vandalism after rapper Yo Gotti’s tour bus was damaged by gunfire.

According to the Nashville Tennessean, Metro Police were called to the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in downtown Nashville on Tuesday night and found Yo Gotti’s unoccupied tour bus, which appeared to have been struck multiple times by gunfire.

Police spokeswoman Kris Mumford told the Tennessean that police have found no one injured in connection with the gunfire and the motive for the vandalism has not been determined.

Yo Gotti was in Nashville for a free admission performance at the Mercy Lounge as part of the TIDAL Fan Appreciation Tour that also included rappers 42 Dugg and Co Cash.

A native of Memphis, Gotti began rapping at 14 and released a string of independent albums before he was signed to RCA Records and released his major label debut Live From The Kitchen in 2012 via RCA.

More recently, he has been releasing music through his own imprint, Collective Music Group, formerly known as Cocaine Muzik Group, which is distributed through Epic Records. His most recent album is 2017’s I Still Am, but has another yet-to-be-named album in the pipeline for later this year.
