Police Arrest Little Yachty On Reckless Driving Charges In Atlanta

ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) — Lil Yachty has been arrested after authorities accused the Atlanta-based rapper of traveling faster than 150 mph while in downtown sections of the city.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia State Troopers said they pulled the 23-year-old recording artist’s white Ferrari over while he was traveling on the Downtown Connector near University Avenue last week.

Lil Yachty, whose real name is Miles McCollum, was charged with reckless driving and speeding, and sent to the city jail, while police allowed a friend to leave with the vehicle, the AJC reported.

Channel 2 Action News reported that Lil Yachty has had a spate of bad luck with Ferraris this year and crashed a red model earlier this year due to speed and poor driving conditions near the same location of his most recent run-in with the law.
