New Orleans To Have Second Line Event Today In Honor Of Dr. John

NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) A Second Line parade, a New Orleans tradition to honor its fallen citizens, has been announced today to take place starting at Kermit Ruffins’ Mother-In-Law Lounge.

Ruffins announced the second line on Instagram, saying it will kick off at 4 p.m. in front of the famed Treme district venue.

Malcolm John “Mac” Rebennack died yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 77.
