New 10,000-Cap Venue Announced For Manchester, England

MANCHESTER (CelebrityAccess) Broadwick Venues, owner of the superclub Printworks and the recently announced 3,000-capacity Exhibition London, is expected to open yet another building, known as the Depot, in the historic former train station of Mayfield in Manchester, England.

The 10,000-capacity Depot will be built next to Picadilly Station and will have a main performance space, a concourse for free community events, and the Archive, which will be considered a rehearsal space for Manchester artists as well as acting as the occasional music venue.

The venue is expected to open with a world premiere of “Invisible Cities,” an immersive production, July 2. Other events include the Manchester Pride live events Aug. 24-25. and
