Marilyn Manson To Be Featured As A Guest Star In An Upcoming HBO Series

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Goth rocker Marilyn Manson will appear as a guest star in the forthcoming HBO series, “The New Pope.”

“Holy Father! Sharon Stone and Marilyn Manson will guest star in #TheNewPope, coming soon,” HBO tweeted.

The new series is a followup to the creepy 2017 HBO miniseries “The Young Pope” which featured Jude Law cast as a scheming young pope who radicalizes the Roman Catholic Church.

Manson, who is best known for his hits “The Beautiful People,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Disposable Teens” is no stranger to the use of religious iconography in his videos and music, such as the video for “Disposable Teens”, where he does a little papal cosplay.

As well, Manson himself claims to be ordained – just not by the Catholic church. In his autobiography “The Long Hard Road Out of Hell,” Manson claims to be a certified minister for the Church of Satan.

HBO has not released a premiere date for “The New Pope,” but said that the series is “coming soon.”
