LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Veteran KCRW DJ Gary Calamar is reportedly exiting the station after 25 years.

Calamar, who hosts a weekly Sunday evening show on KCRW, will wrap it up Sept. 23, according to Variety.

“I’m very sorry to leave KCRW, which has been my radio home for 25 years,” Calamar told the trade magazine. “I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been offered, but times change, and it’s time to move on. I’m looking forward to what the future brings.”

Calamar is in talks with both terrestrial and satellite radio for his next show, according to Variety.

The DJ is also known as a music supervisor for film and television with “True Blood,” “Dexter,” “Six Feet Under” and “House” some of the programs under his belt. He is currently working on Amazon’s “The Man In The High Castle” and DC Universe / Warner Bros.’ “Titans.” He got his start on 1998’s “Slums of Beverly Hills.” Calamar is also a singer/songwriter, releasing his own music on a 2014 EP.

“Gary Calamar has been a valued DJ on KCRW for as long as I can remember,” station MD Jason Bentley told Variety. “His passion for music, keen sense of humor, and dedication to bringing the very best to the station every Sunday evening are all things we sincerely appreciate. However, all things must pass, and at a time of great change for the station, we are making programming changes to welcome new ideas and personalities. We thank Gary and wish him the very best moving forward.”
