Canada’s Groupe CH Partners With Ticketmaster

MONTREAL (CelebrityAccess) — Ticketmaster Canada announced an exclusive ticketing partnership covering the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens, as well as 20 venues and music festivals in Quebec.

The deal, with Montreal-based Groupe CH, includes high profile venues such as the Bell Centre, Place Bell, MTelus, the Corona Theatre, as well as festivals, including Osheaga, Heavy Montreal, and Ile Soniq.

All Groupe CH’s teams, venues, and festivals will utilize Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing and fan identity platform – Ticketmaster Presence – to personalize the event experience, including everything from venue entry to upgraded offerings.

Fans will access tickets on their mobile devices and can download tickets to their digital wallets to expedite entry.

Groupe CH’s assets include the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens, and the Laval Rocket, the club’s AHL affiliate, as well as the venues in which the teams play, including including Bell Centre (which Groupe CH owns), Place Bell in Laval and the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.

In the world of entertaiment, Groupe CH has two main affiliates, evenko and l’Équipe Spectra, acquired in 2013, and is a shareholder in the Montreal-based Just for Laughs festival since 2018.

The concert venues it owns or operates includes Bell Centre, Place Bell, MTelus, Corona Theatre, l’Astral, Théâtre L’Étoile Banque Nationale and Le Club DIX30 and it also stages the OSHEAGA Music & Arts Festival, îLESONIQ, Heavy Montreal, 77’ Montreal, Festival YUL EAT, as well as the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Les Francos de Montréal, Montréal en Lumière and La Nuit Blanche. As well, evenko stages about 1,500 concerts and live entertainment events a year.
