NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — XM Satellite Radio has struck a deal with the city of Nashville to expand its presence in Music City, opening new studios in the Sommet Center.

According to the Tennessean, XM’s new facilities will include broadcast and production studios, a dedicated performance space and office space in the Sommet Center’s tower. XM’s current Nashville studios are located near the arena in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

“The Country Music Hall of Fame has been a wonderful home to XM’s Nashville studios for the past six years and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them in the future,” Eric Logan, XM’s executive vice president for programming told the paper.
