Veteran Promoter Jose Muniz Joins Evenpro

SAO PAULO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Veteran promoter Jose Muniz, ex Senior Vice-President of Time for Fun (T4F) U.S.A. and longtime South American promoter has joined Brazilian promoter XYZ Live and Evenpro Group.

Evenpro has an equity stake in XYZ, one of Brazil's leading entertainment companies and the company reports that in 2011, they sold more than 1,500,000 tickets sold and grossed in excess of $115,000,000.

Muniz got his start in the industry as a concert promoter in Brasilia, Brazil in 1983 with Metal Productions but soon moved to Sao Paulo to promote international tours. In 1990, Muniz founded Mercury Concerts, which he ran for a decade before he sold the company to CIE/OCESA and became their director of entertainment.

In 2004 he relocated to New York as VP of Ocesa Presents in New York. In 2007 Muniz was appointed Senior VP of T4F and moved its operations to Orlando, Florida where he owns a home. With a staff of four, he helped the company expand its operations outside of Brazil, while still providing talent for T4F's Brazilian operation.
