RALEIGH, NC (CelebrityAccess) — Temporary event data provider TOURtech announced the launch of FOMO-Fi, which they bill as a scalable event Wi-Fi system for temporary venues such as festivals and other outdoor events.
The system provides both Wi-Fi capability for event attendees, as well as data collection services for event producers. Features on offer via the service include social media authentication, URL redirection, footfall analytics and usage statistics across the event.
“Many of our clients have experimented with current public Wi-Fi offerings but have failed to realize a justifiable return on their investment.” said Allen Cook, TOURTech's founder and CEO. “We’ve been asked several times for affordable alternatives with measurable results. This demand is why we created FOMO-Fi for our partners.”
Reliable Internet access and data services are becoming increasingly important parts of festival and outdoor event planning, as more festivals adopt technology such as RFID payment systems and provisioning for such a service can be a complex task for the uninitiated.
