TIDAL Adds Detailed Track Information For Subscribers

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — TIDAL, the streaming music service owned by Jay Z and other artists, announced that they are adding subscribers access to artist credits for tracks and albums on the service.

The feature includes in-depth descriptions and credits that include granular information such as composers, lyricists, engineers, musicians, vocals, instrumentals, mastering, production, mixing details, record label information album cover photographer and more.

TIDAL bills the new detailed information as a way to support content creators, and likens the new data as a callback to the days of album liner notes.

The feature includes in-depth descriptions and credits, such as: composers, lyricists, engineers, musicians, vocals, instrumentals, mastering, production, mixing details, record label information album cover photographer and more.

The new track details dovetail with TIDAL's "Live Credits" feature, which lets subscribers explore more information about notable songs in an artists' repertoire, with interviews from creators along with video, audio and the written word, artists, producers, songwriters, and engineers recount their experiences in creating a particular piece as well as offering behind-the-scenes views of the production process.
