Ticketmaster Forms Alliance with Scotland's DF Concerts

Ticketmaster is expanding its international operations into Scotland via a multiyear
agreement with DF Concerts, one of Scotland's largest rock/pop promoters.

Events in Scotland should be easier in the future.

As part of this new alliance, Ticketmaster is establishing a new branch office in
Glasgow and a telesales number dedicated to Scotland. Ticketmaster will also be
launching scotland.ticketmaster.co.uk, a dedicated Scottish website and creating a
network of retail ticket outlets in Scotland.

“This announcement represents yet another step in our strategy to expand our
international footprint and to associate ourselves with the very best in the
entertainment industry,'' said Peter Jackson, group-managing director of
Ticketmaster UK. “By combining our state-of-the-art ticketing services with DF
Concerts' extensive relationships, Ticketmaster will provide consumers throughout
Scotland with easier and more convenient ticket purchasing on the phone, at the box
office, in retail ticket outlets and over the internet.''

The Ticketmaster group of companies already has several existing business
relationships with many of Scotland's best known venues, promoters and football
clubs through its sister companies, Synchro Systems and TicketWeb, including
Regular Music, the Edinburgh Playhouse, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the
Pavilion Theatre, the Royal Scotland Academy of Music and Drama, Rangers FC,
Celtic FC, Aberdeen FC and Hibernian FC.

“As the leading rock and pop promoter in Scotland, we wanted to make tickets for
our events as widely and easily accessible to as many concert goers as possible,''
said Geoff Ellis, managing director of DF Concerts. “Forming an association with
an industry leader such as Ticketmaster is undoubtedly the best way to achieve that
goal.''

DF Concerts is the promoter of “T in the Park'' and “Irn Bru Live and Proud''
festivals, and promotes the majority of rock and pop tours in Scotland. DF also
manages King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, voted “Launch Venue of the Year
2001'' by Radio 1.
